Smart has signed a memorandum of understanding to sell a license for its unwanted Roadster and Roadster Coupe models to a British conglomerate called "Project Kimber".

Smart also anticipates selling the Smart Roadster and Roadster Coupe models production equipment for the models that are no longer needed.
