Waeco "Bord Bar" rear refrigerator for w124/w126 New old stock

For the enthusiast that has "almost" everything. For sale is a NOS in original box rear refrigerator for w124 or w126. Manuals etc. in German. This unit is complete and ready to install. This was an extremely rare option. Photos speak for themselves. $950 plus shipping. Weighs about 15 lbs. I will ship this box inside a sturdy exterior box to prevent damage. Grey exterior and burled walnut. Thanks for looking, Mike

I'll have to pass - the burl is all wrong for my car, as it's Zebrano.

Darn!

Does this fridge require a split backseat? It appears to replace the arm rest.

Alas, I have a 560; the wood tone looks good and I have the light gray interior. Just not sure about the back seat configuration necessary.

I'm not sure I want to spring $950 bones for it, though.

Nice piece for sure. Do any of the papers/instructions indicate whether this fits in an SEC?

Enjoy yourself, Marco.

The installation instructions show it in a SEL, replaces the armrest. From what I read in the manuals there are specific units for w124 and w126. This appears to be for w126. Nothing mentioned for either model coupe.
