The car is still with me in Japan. I don't have any plans of going to Canada this years. I do have some friends in Toronto and Montreal. I'm in no rush. It costs me for monthly parking but I will cost a lot more to ship it and find parking for it and insurance.... Not attractive now. I'll be very flexible with a serious buyer.

I drove it a bit and discovered it needs a blower motor regulator/resistor. And it's way too nice to sell cheaply or to someone who just wants a car. I have been noticing the w211 prices have been dropping. Here in Japan 2005 E500 95,000km $3000, E500 50,000 $5000.
So who knows the W210 might begin to appreciate before long.

Update. I did the rear main seal, transmission output shaft seal, transmission filter and new expensive MB ATF. Finally my dad came to Japan to see the car. It's way too big for him. So it's officially for sale. AC compression kicks on and off but no cooling and no codes. I think it might be low on freon.
Reasonable offers please.

If there is a problem with the system the car won't kick the compressor on.

Check your Receiver Drier then recharge your freon. That's the most common problem I see with W210 air conditioners now.

It cost about $1000 to Vancouver Plus $1500 to Toronto.
I have many projects now. When I have time I'll check the AC. It's just such a damn fine car. The overall condition makes my E55 look a bit tired.
