Boxes of Mercedes Parts - All Original

Hi All,

I recently came across a huge amount of Mercedes original parts - mostly all small stuff, nuts, bolts, seals, rubber bits, wires. Sooooo much of it. Its all labeled and packaged nicely. There may be a few thousands pieces. Its 4 large boxes stuffed worth. This came from a local dealer that shut down their business recently.

I'm picking out stuff for my r107 project only. Does anyone want to tackle the rest? This would be a gold mine for someone who can organize this and inventory it. I'll post some photos later but here's maybe a 1% sample of whats in these boxes:

140 997 08 46
140 990 01 99
123 997 01 45
119 94 51 82
103 203 00 82
123 988 00 35
129 683 00 55
110 987 08 44
124 898 07 65
116 997 01 82
111 51 00 43
113 94 00 41
109 973 06 11
140 826 14 08
103 16 00 08
117 78 09 81
123 832 16 94
112 184 00 61
124 471 04 81
120 254 00 97
113 492 00 82
124 323 56 85
129 492 01 80
112 203 03 82
111 141 11 80
000 159 28 42
126 824 00 72

...

Let me know if there's any interest and if someone wants to offer me for the whole kit. FYI 2 of the boxes are filled with quality MBZ nuts and bolts so shipping it all would be expensive...

Just want to add Ideally I'd want to *Sell* the boxes as a whole, not part it out or give it away individually.

Without a detailed inventory I'm not sure how you would establish a value. Considering that you paid a certain amount for all of this, you must have an idea of what you want for it?

I might be interested in the lot, but without knowing everything that's in it you're sort of asking for someone to pay for a "grab bag" and taking a compete shot in the dark that there's something of value in it.

I think you need to inventory it if you want someone to make you an offer. Otherwise, I would liken this to asking a doctor to diagnose an ailment over the phone.

Okay so I started on an inventory... this is a lot of work LOL. I managed to get through 1 of the boxes. Its all packaged nicely and all items have associated part numbers so I was able to go on the Mercedes Benz of Atlanta website to see what the part was and how much the retail value is.

Attached please find an inventory sheet with a part number, quantity and retail value. So far this one box comes to a retail value of $2600 for about 180 assorted parts. Obviously I know the "street" value isn't anywhere near that, but, I will consider any reasonable offers. I'll be going through the other boxes in the coming week, but, please understand this takes time and effort
