Looking for Ceginus (EVO II) Wheels

Looking for a set of four 17x8.25ET34 Ceginus wheels.

They must ALL be the 8.25 to fit the vehicle I intend to put them on.

Finish doesn't really matter, nor does the condition barring there are no cracks or bends.

I won't really get into a budget, for now - just want to see what people have.

Shipping would be to 78260, and I don't mind covering the cost of that as well as my current set on my 16V where shipped to me through UPS.

'51 Euro 170S

Have you checked with the classic center? Not long ago I received a message saying that they are selling these (and 15" bundts) new for some pretty good prices. I may have actually sold a used set about a year ago (a few months before the email) for more than new ones were being offered by the classic center.

Hi VaiFanatic. I have a set of four Ceginus wheels lying around in my garage since i sold my E500 away to Russia. They are in great condition and hand polished, see the added pics below.

The wheels are located in Riga, Latvia, I have not yet put them on EBay but am willing and will ask for around 2000 EUR, that's about 2200 USD. If you are really interested on buying them then maybe we could negotiate a price that suits the both of us considering the shipping costs from the Baltics to USA Texas.

PM me if you have more questions. Tomorrow I will take some more detailed pictures of the inner side of wheels etc.

You probably have done your research, but this seems about average for a new set.

Just so you guys know. These are available new from MB. They are less expensive than you'd think too, at least based on what I see here.

Some popped up in Oregon for $400. Not exactly the right size/offset but they look like a clean set.

At ET47, those have got to be off an ML500. Even for the W201, he's going to be using spacers (oops, ad even says what he's running!)

The look do look great, but I've always been on the fence when it comes to spacers

And yes, as Fonzi pointed out, you can get them from the classic center for a less than $2000.

The only reason I haven't gone that route yet, is because I'd like to save by getting a used set and finishing them up again like my last set.

Problem with wheels are that people are often all over the map when it comes to value!

I think that's why those are going for $400 (if that is a legit ad) because of their offset and requiring of spacers which some people just aren't comfortable running. Ironically, the 17x7.5ET37 are the easiest to obtain, and they are NOT the EVO spec wheels. The EVO II ran the 17x8.25ET34 all the way around, which is what I'm looking for. The 500E/E500 also wore those.

I look at those and say, "hmmm..." As I'm seeking cheap wheels for my r129. Today I'm seeking some higher offset chrome rs90 to be able to get them on my 1992 500sl, and high offset wheels with spacers should work. I have six h&r 25mm spacer adapters and could reduce that offset down to 22 which would be pretty good for the r129. But I will always know they are ML wheels and I don't think I want to invest:
~$200+ worth of spacers
- $400 on the wheels
- probably another $150-200 in shipping
- then probably another $500 in tires.

My r129 is CHEAP, and even $400 wheels may end up too expensive for it when I look at the added costs. As soon as I dump the panoramic top, I should still have less than $1000 NET into it if I don't count the 18" wheels I bought for the car and gave to a friend before I even got them home.
