Runs and drives great. Updated stereo head unit with blue tooth and custom pro-clip phone mount in the dash (no cutting), sounds amazing with the factory BOSE system. Factory OEM head unit comes with the car. Front Michelins with 75% tread, rear tires are Hankooks brand new less than 5k miles. Comes with a set of rear snow tires for the winter in very good condition. Interior is in very good condition with some minor wear on the rear seats. Front floor mats are well worn. Currently has 142,000 miles.
Recent Maintenance includes: professionally replaced power steering box (remanufactured OEM part), rear shocks (Bilstein OEM), rear non-SLS springs OEM with shim. Suspect the accumulators went in the rear, so I converted it to a non-sls setup by looping the hydraulic line inside the rear wheel well. No leaks, height is perfect and it rides great. Front brake rotors replaced. All (4) original wheels refinished. Replaced front drivers side upper control arm (lemforder part). Coolant flushed and updated to current MB Fluid. Synthetic oil and filter change. Cylinder 6 coil pack replaced with MB part, extra coil comes with the car. Brand New key from Mercedes, one extra key fob and valet keys. new wiper blades. New gas cap.
All records Ė receipts going back to the previous owner from 60,000 miles. books, tools, full size spare with tire. There is some rust in the wheel wells as shown in the pictures. The trunk had rust under one tail light Ė I took everything out, removed the rust and rattle canned with black paint, looks fine from 5 ft but no more rust. Could use a trunk seal. Additional sound deadening added to the trunk lid and floor. Front bumper cover is scratched and needs a respray. I had all of the dents removed and had it professionally detailed. The front grille has a small dent from a recent parking lot bump, pictured, didnít get the hood. No check engine lights. I had an intermittent flashing fuel light indicating fuel system pressurization issue, but I think the gas cap solved it.
The paint still looks great and I get compliments everywhere I go. So smooth and quiet on the highway you donít realize how fast youíre going. I am a long time Mercedes enthusiast and Iíve really enjoyed my time with the car but we are moving and I need the space. Asking $7,000.
