'99 C230 Kompressor - Whole for Parts (rear damage)

Put the Kompressor in a ditch, have another on the way next month and I need to get rid of this one. I am not interested in keeping it for parts as I already have another one that I've stripped for parts.

Anyway, here's the deal. I have it on eBay for $1k. The car is for sale, whole. I'm not messing with parting it out myself.

I recently bought this car and just titled it last week. The rear tire blew out and went in a ditch, damaging the whole passenger side and especially the rear passenger side. The motor and trans are good, I had previously put some new parts into it within the last month including:

- New Battery
- New Alternator
- ECU Repaired
- New Front Flex Disc
- New Oil Separator & EGR Hoses
- New Windshield Wiper Motor
- Repaired Shift Selector & Replaced Shifter Linkage Bushing
- New Front Brake Pads

The interior is in great condition as far as the seats, door panels and dash are concerned. All power seats are functional as are all windows. The motor runs good and strong, the trans doesn't slip or have any problems. With traction control off, this car chirps second gear like nothing. I had been going trhough the car to get it in perfect condition before this happened, and there are no major mechanical issues. Supecharger functions perfectly. Has a minor oil leak from somewhere, I hadn't got to that yet but it's nothing serious. The suspension parts are rather worn, but they're salvagable if needed, it's mostly bushings that are bad. Front control arms are good, hubs seem good, rims are in good shape with no major dents & dings. All glass is good.

I don't want to spend the time parting it out and constantly shipping things out, I just don't have the time. The spare trans, motor, supercharger, radiator, etc. make it well worth the buy for anyone with a '99 or W202 Kompressor. The back tire is flat so a trailer is probably needed for pickup. If you wanted to toss on a tire and drive it, the car runs, but do so at your own risk as their might be some rear frame damage and I can't guarantee it's safe to drive. It also has no rear tail/brake light so again, trailer is ideal.

I am located in McHenry Illinois, about 1 hour NW of Chicago and 45 minutes E of Rockford. If you're interested, feel free to contact me with questions or to make arrangements. This could be a really great find for someone who needs the extra kompressor engine/trans/SC parts. Last but not least, I DO NOT have the title in hand as I am waiting for it to arrive from the state. I should have it within 4 weeks and at that point I will mail it or deliver it to the buyer, if needed. I do have registration, plates and insurance to prove my ownership for the time being.

Cash only, for pickup. If it sells on ebay, this is void as I'm obligated to provide the car to the buyer. Feel free to purchase on eBay. If you're SERIOUSLY in need and want it, make me an offer here on the forum and if we can come to an agreement and you want to pick it up within the week, I'll remove the eBay ad. Thanks for looking!
