Too bad I didn't know about this maybe a year ago. I had three 8x16 et11 and was seeking a single. They are all gone now.

I have the following single (small lip) LOs, none of which you seem to be seeking.
- 8x16 et22 refinished with polished lip and painted spokes
- 7x16 et23 refinished with machine cut lip and spokes
- 7x16 et23 sandblasted cracked during the refinishing process, basically ruined.

I have scrapped together a lot of sets. I have bought quantities of: 1, 2, 3, 4, and even 7.

It seems even my youngest son has thought it's good practice to "sit on them" until someone needs them.

In the above, different models are in different columns. I sold three sets in the past few months. I usually take a few to my wheel shop with extras to be refinished all at once because it's not uncommon to discover some of the wheels have irreparable defects, and it REALLY sucks when you shell out the money for a refurb only to discover that you are ending up with three refinished wheels and one piece of scrap metal. That starts the cycle all over again.

Hey Thanks for the reply Fonzi, Yep that is just my luck missed out. I had purchased a set of these in the early eighties in Germany and would just love to put a set on my 300CD.

I believe I know where there's a complete set for sale, 9" rears, and fronts that can work on a 560sl. I think they have tires mounted. But I can assure you, they are not cheap. Not $1000, not $2000, probably not even $3000, more like $4000 with some brand new tires. The seller doesn't need to sell, and I believe he's just got the wheels on display in his garage.

I sold an un-refurbished set above $2650 before. I think I had to pay the seller $2450 for them and just sold them for the seller and to buyer as favors, the difference in price basically paid for my gas and tolls to fetch them and then shop them to the buyer. I won't even bother to say the highest number I ever sold a set. My first set of LOs I got for free because they were chrome and bent, and included with the sale of some stock 560sl wheels. I spent nearly $1000 refurbishing them, plus a lot of time. At this point, my wheel shop has nearly every model programmed in the CNC machine, and they turn them around pretty quickly for me. I honestly think I may be done with them though. Someone wants the 8x16 et22 I have which just leaves the one good and one bad 7x16 et23, both of which I'd be happy to unload.

Yeah
I know they are not cheap.
I paid about $680 US per wheel at the time I purchased mine.

not for 560 sl
these will be for a 300CD.
I originally purchased my wheels for a 1978 230 C along with the full Lorinser body kit at Lorinser in Germany.
was a sweet ride back in HS in early eighties.

Yes. That's much easier to fit than the 560sl with calipers that protrude 1.5" beyond the wheel mounting surface. The highest dollar sets I've sold were sets that could fit a 560 with either 8x16 et22 or 8x16 et35 (and spacers) for the fronts. Those are the only two models that can fit a 560sl as far as I know. The 7" have would be very nice for a staggered set for your w123, if only one wasn't ruined. I went to two wheel shops with it and they said the metal was too thin. I tried to get a guy in the UK to send me the one he had on ebay UK for sale, but he never got around to shipping, and stopped responding to me. The 7" don't seem very common. The most common seem to be the 8x16 et11 which is good for you. They will show up when you aren't seeking.
