Do you have any pictures of the back sides or the wheels? Part numbers for the centers? Or any profile shots showing how thick the center piece metal is where the bolts are?

Feel free to PM a ballpark number you are hoping to get on these. I almost bought a set of centers a year or two ago.

At that price, I assume a buyer will want to know that they are safe for road use. I have discussed with someone who had a set, and the aluminum center was only 1/4" thick between the BBS RS lip and barrel. I know someone who apparently makes rings to reinforce the bundt centers. I don't recall if the rings are TIG welded to the bundt center or if simply bolting them on is able to make the center stronger. All of this was NOT first hand experience, rather something that I was simply told.

I understand , but first let me explain why the price , yes they are expensive wheels , but ... it costed me 4.5k to run them. I know , we never get back what we invest. Second ... I own a show car , not a mercedes but i've put over 25k in it. Irrelevant you might think , my point is I do a lot of research on things I don't know like these wheels , I heard a bunch of stories of people complaining about the material , shape , etc. Let me tell you that most of these people never owned a set like mine.

I won't sell something full price if I know it ain't safe , first of all I would never have put it on my car , I can testify that they are road safe , not by stories or ear to ear , I drove them.

As I understand it, these wheels are not approved for sale in Germany because they do not meet their safety standards. Unless yours are different, the ones coming out of Europe are sold as 'show' wheels, not for street use. We've had a number of threads on this at the W126 forum.

Personally, I think they're stunning looking wheels.

Oh really ? Damn I had no idea..
Here in Canada they only care about major stretch and poke but not on the custom wheels.

Maybe these wont meet germanys standards either ... but it makes sense though.
