1992 Mercedes 300D 2.5L Turbo Diesel - Located in CT

This is a 1992 300D so please ignore my typo in the heading which says 1991. Thanks

Located in Salem, CT zip 06420 and Asking Price is $2,700 OBO but I'm willing to negotiate.

I would like to sell my 1992 Mercedes 300D which is currently my daily driver. Car runs great, doesn't blow any smoke, and rides very smoothly. It has high mileage - 330,000 but if you've done any research on this car they last much, much longer. I've done a lot of work to this car to make it run as good as it does and this list is below. In addition, the A/C blows very cold and all four tires are less than 1 year old. Also have a second set of Mercedes Alloy wheels with studded snow tires with 80% life left on the tires. This will be the perfect car for a student or someone who appreciates these solid vehicles. I currently get 30mpg on the highway and Diesel fuel is almost the same price as mid-grade gasoline.

Replaced within the past year:
-All three fuel filters (including the one in fuel tank)
-Vacuum pump replaced with high quality sealed bearing pump (Pierburg)
-Idler Pulley
-Radiator Fan Clutch
-Turbo Wastegate actuator
-Transmission Modulator
-Transmission Fluid & Filter
-Transmission Cooler Hoses
-A/C Blower Motor
-Both Auxiliary Fans in front of radiator
-Power Steering Pump Filter
-Tie Rods & Steering Damper (followed by full four-wheel alignment)
-Brakes (all four pads and rotors replaced in April 2015).
-Motor Mounts
-Windshield Washer pumps
-Valve Cover Gasket
-Rear Shocks
-Control arm bushings
-Have receipts to prove all this

A couple things do not work such as the cruise control. I recently replaced the computer (cruise control amplifier) and this didn't fix the problem so I suspect the modulator (the device that mechanically operates the throttle a.k.a. diesel pump to control rpm) which can be rebuilt for under $100. '

I hope this information is detailed enough for you because I don't want to waste anyone's time when they come check out the car. I am trying to be honest and complete. The car is in Salem, CT but I drive it to Wethersfield, CT every day for work so you are welcome to come check it out at either place.

Please message me here with your interest and leave your phone number if you would like me to call you back.

This car is actually a 1992. Not sure why I put 1991 in the subject line.

I might be willing to part out the car if I get enough interest. I hate to take another 300D off the road but if parts from my good running car can make someone else's 300D running perfectly then I'm willing to accommodate. I have the full capability to completely disassemble the car so please state your interest below or via private message. Thanks
