both 280se euro w126 and 380sel euro all most gone

yep many parts sold some taken off and cataloged almost ready. The 380sel will become a demo derby car

Interesting discoveries on that m110 engine. The block is a 110.981 from a w114 d-jet 280e/280ce car, and obviously doesn't have the d-jet fuel management or intake pieces. I honestly don't know what, if any intake manifold pieces are the same between the d-jet and k-jet m110 motors.

The fact that the harmonic balancer has "280slc" written on it makes it sound like someone really grabbed a lot of pieces in order to put this one together.

It makes me wonder if the donor car was originally a 280se or if it was modified in some way. Could this engine be a little custom beast?

The lady that sent it to she shop after her husband died apparently asked how to put the car into drive when she went to pick it up from the shop and that's when they explained to her that it was a stick shift. So I guess the story will remain a mystery.
