Welcome aboard.

Are you looking for new, aftermarket wheels or used original MB wheels? For the latter your best bet is ebay.

For the former I'd suggest you start a search on TireRack.com, for a few reasons. First, you'll see what's available both in the stock sizes and in plus sizes (if you like that "meatier" look) and you'll be able to see what the options would look like on your car. Second, they don't sell junk, so if you aren't familiar with brands, then you'll know the names to watch for no matter where you may buy. Third, if you're handy with basic stuff on the car and you buy from TR, they will ship the wheels and tires, mounted and balanced and ready to go, you'll just have to adjust the tire pressure. Many vendors will do that, but TR's customer service is unmatched, and if you have a problem that is really important. I had a friend who "saved" almost $150 on a set of tires and wheels by buying them from an ebay vendor, and when he had a problem with one of them (defective wheel) they made him pay to ship it back to them, and then he had to pay to have the replacement shipped back. Altogether it took him over three weeks before he had his new wheels and tires, and he was out almost what he "saved" on ebay. Gah. Ugh.

Good luck.

Hey, good luck finding the wheels you like, are you familiar with sizing wheels and tires for your model? Most folks don't know or understand a wheels offset - (E or ET for short).

Looking at a wheel chart for 216, it appears the ET should be in the low 40's, 8.5 to 9.5 x 20's..

I just thought that your description of your budget in association with the year/model is kind of a oxymoron. I don't think tight budgets and Mercedes in general mix well, and a 2006 CL600 on a tight budget is kind of like Military Intelligence...

Seriously, good luck with your benz and finding the wheels you like.
