I recently bought the factory crimping tool for building ignition wires
for any model using the M3 screw on connectors.
These are identical to what these cars left the factory with
This includes V8 engines since 1971 to 1995, M116, M117, M119
All M102, M103, M104 , M110 , M119 and M120 V-12
Pricing is very reasonable, a M119 V8 which has 8 plug wires and 2 coil wires
is $150 plus $12 shipping priority mail.
Obviously, 4cyl and 6 cylinder will be less.
I also have the yellow rubber number sleeves, only available through MB Germany.
This is for the wires only, the cap and coil ends have no resistors.
The spark plug ends must be ohm tested and can usually be reused.
If your wires are 20 years old or older, they should be replaced.
I can also do single wires, if you went to change a spark plug end
and the wire broke off, measure it and I can make up a single replacement
instead of you buying a new set.
Here's my thread with pictures.
A M119 set of wires for a 500SL, all M119 are the same except for coil wire length.
