FS: 1985 300TD S. California RF Fender damage
my story of woe....
I buy the best wagon I can find in 2010. Fix it up for 2 years. Sell it in 2012. Sam the Surfer buys it. Someone in a Prius hits the right front fender pretty hard wiping out the front of the Prius and most of the RF fender of the 300TD. Sam gets a different job that requires driving so he buys a Honda. 1 year later, (last week) Sam texts me and wants the car to go. He isn't going to work on it anymore, doesn't like it parked on the street. So I buy it, both because I want my aluminum wheels back and because I don't want it going to the crusher.
What's been done to the car in the past 25,000 miles:
Radiator, rebuilt auto transmission (Sun Valley Mercedes), suspension work, AC work, exhaust work. Everything works great including cruise, SLS, turbo, etc. The things that don't work: AC probably lost charge in the accident, it worked before and now it doesn't blow cold. Sunroof needs maintenance - hard to close. And of course the right front fender.
I would like to see this car go to someone who will take the time to fix it and drive it. I gave up this morning sitting on my ass at the Pick Your Part in Anaheim about to sawzall out an inner fender (for the body shop) and decided that I am not going to do that much work for a car that I'm not keeping. But I have already acquired the outer fender, fender liner, front bumper, headlight assembly, turn signal.
The car drives great and has no frame damage.
Before pics are representative of what the car looks like except for the accident, and can be found here:

If you are interested and want to come take a look or a drive, let me know. I'm keeping the wheels with hubcaps.
