995 quid is about 1600 US...
I was calculating for one set shipped. This is a good deal I feel. Where in England are you so I can get more accurate with the shipping cost?

Nice sets and not knocking at all -
but i don't understand when getting these rims re-furbed the lips are not left unpainted and instead the natural alloy machined and polished up to a mirror finish as they present so much better done that way. It also makes sure there are no masked severe pitting or curb rash that has been bogged and not welded up professionally with the lips for any unwary buyer.
Also out of due diligence and checking were these tested for perfect roundness with no run-out when spun up on the balancing machine?
(I happened to notice in your photobucket album there was curbing all the way around the visible top stacked rear rim which is unusual as its the fronts that always seemed to get curbed)
Cheers

Something in my head is telling me that these were acquired as two square sets. So maybe the 9" was simply a front wheel.

Anyway curbing is usually a pretty simple fix. If not already fixed, these could surely be sent to the wheel shop I used in the Philadelphia area (or any wheel shop really) for a refurb to make them look like new and with polished lips.

So one could be paying for newly refurbished wheels which they would need to have refurbished at an additional $100+/_ per wheel?
