1977-1985 123W DYI Center Console Cup Holder $75

**I could not find the first post so I posted again. If I've double posted please remove and sorry :-) ** I'm sure I'm not the first to make these. $75 includes shipping in lower 48 standard USPS. I'm selling these hand made center console cup holders which will fit any of the 1977-1985 W123 Mercedes Benz 230, 240D, 280CE, 280E, 300CD, 300D, 300TD (W123). Several of my friends and I, who own a of these vintage Mercedes, were always complaining about there being no cup holders. I finally got around to trying out a few designs and finding the one I liked best. I made a few last year, tweaking the design a little in the process and gave them out as gifts to friends. Since then other W123 owners have come to me and I ask that I build them one as well. I'm not a carpenter, but I'm pretty handy and like to tool around. Each one is made with reclaimed wood and materials (discarded plywood from my friends tour cabinet shop and left over strips of wood from the an art installation last July. The two I show here have the inlay coin or cigarette pocket lined with leather of an old art carrying case) These are handmade, assembled, stained and painted by me, DIY style, they are not off of an assembly line, and they look like they are NOT off of an assembly line. Consequently each duel cup holder is a little unique and may show some imperfections found in the original wood, but they are very sturdy and once installed (simply set it in the center council) they should fit snug and they will look and function to your satisfaction. My regular work is slow over the holidays and I can make more if needed. If you are interested please contact me by email at sbaxter65@gmail.com.To make it worth my while I need to stay firm at the price of $75. If you get it and don't like it, I will refund you the total of $75 if returned to me withing 30 days.

PLEASE MEASURE YOUR CENTER CONSOLE SPACE BELOW THE ARM REST AND MAKE SURE IT MATCHES CLOSELY WITH THOSE I LIST IN THE 2ND PICTURE. I'm told all these model have the same center console but I've only used my cup holder in the 280 E and 300SD.

I put my drink in the console with no holder. So this would be an improvement.

My kids are always climbing through my SL/SLC cars and stepping on the fragile center console. I would love to have one of these that fits an SL/SLC and has a wide broad base such that it won't crack the console when my kids step on it, you know, not only strong enough for them to step on, but kind of a console protector too.

I wonder if I get you the dimensions of an SL console if you could make it happen. Hmm...

Too bad I threw out that junk console. It would have been handy to mail to the cabinet-maker (because he says he's not a carpenter, must be a cabinet maker then).
