Cool WTB Shift Lever 1966 230 W110 Manual Trans

WTBI need to buy a Shift lever for my 1966 230 W110 Manual Transmission. I have broken the original (which was previously welded). Any lever with the correct ball to go to the linkage will do. A Luger or Walther Pistol grip would be a real bonus! Looking for an OEM or NOS to get rolling again. Any other suggestions for Fabbing would be appreciated as well.
Thank you!

Can you drill out the center of both broken sides and insert a rod or bolt before welding it back together again?

Hi Fonzi,
Looks like I've sourced an original part locally and i will have it Saturday. it looks like my original was welded at least once before, so I will weld it again and keep for backup (scarce part). the middle is pot metal, so it's a bit touchy. Other way around was to do a complete Fab down the road...
Thanks for your input!
