the OEM car phone is a nice conversation piece, but be aware that since it was an analog system, you more than likely won't be able to register and use it in the U.S. since the analog system has been decomissioned in virtually all the country.
I have the handset and eyeglass compartment control unit from my 97SL500 up in the attic in the "original parts" box.
