I am looking to purchase a 1984-1985 300td wagon. Miles is not really an issue. Body need sto be in good shape.

Also/or looking to buy a running parts car of which the driver side engine compartment is good. My wagon caught fire and needs to have the mecahnicals on the passenger side replaced.

Thank you

Hey we have a 300td parts car. Engine is in great shape and running and everything is complete in the engine bay. Rear of the body isn't in good shape and is rusted through. We're located in MD.

1985 300TD wagon

I have a California emission model with 223K, but the transmission slips between 2-3. It drives well other than that but will need a transmission overhaul. Body is good, but has rust on the right fender (I bought a new one for replacement) and small surface rust on the driver's door. The driver's seat bottom needs replacing, and I have the pad to do it. Rear wiper motor doesn't work but I have a brand new NOS unit. Paint is good but needs clear coat on the top and on the tailgate. It's a good car. I've had it for 7 years and have kept it up and have all the receipts to prove it. I'm the 3d owner and bought it from the 2nd owner in San Francisco. I have kids in college and can't pony up for the repair now. I love the damn thing and just want it to go to a good home. I don't have to sell it but I will to the right home. I'm in St. Louis, MO. I guess something like $2500 would be fair. I paid $6500 and have over 10K in it in upkeep. If you're interested contact me through the board and I can send you some pictures.
