ASKING $850 OBO!!!!
I have two used but still in good overall condition older Mercedes Benz engines for sale. I do not want to separate them, however will for the right offer.
The first one is a long block engine from a 1986-1989 Mercedes benz 560SL. Included are only the heads, bottom end, and intake manifold. No accessories no exhaust manifolds. The motor has approximately 55k Miles on it and ran fine when last used. The motor had no issues at the time of removal, however it is now disassembled in prep for replacement of the chain guides. These engines are notorious for the chain guides going bad after sitting for a while, so this one was prepared for replacement of them and is still disassembled. You can (in theory) re-assemble it and use it the way it is, however I would NOT recommend it.
The other engine is a 3.0l i6 that can be found in a 201, 124, and 126 chassis. This engine was BRIEFLY overheated due to a blown head gasket and once noticed instantly shut off. It was removed from the vehicle after that. It was removed because the owner had opted for a new engine instead of replacing the blown head gasket. This motor is partially disassembled in preparation for replacing the head gasket which needs to be done.
The following numbers are attached to the engine.
Stamped on the block is the number 103-011-10-01
and stamped on a separate plate are the following
Agg Nr: 045494
Both of the engines have been sitting for several years, so my recommendation would be before you attempt to use them, do the above things mentioned and replace any seal or gasket you deem necessary during that time.
You will need a truck to get these two motors. Nothing else comes with them except the two motors and whats pictured, no transmission, wiring, or accessories. The Engine stand is also not included.
They are both dirty from sitting for a while, however the i6 has been cleaned off briefly, but the v8 is still dirty and dusty from sitting in the back of my work on a pallet.
