FS: ///AMG w126 Aero1 8x17 et11 245/45/17

Looking to dump these quick in the Philadelphia area. Posted up on ebay auction for $0.99 but expect that to go much higher.

I will certainly sell right now for $750. I can take a deposit and hold them if you want.

Tires are almost 10 years old but have plenty of tread. I'd be playing with these myself if I hadn't just realized that the tires are too big for my car. Some curbing. Probably leaking some air slowly too. So don't expect a pristine set of wheels. Offers welcome. I will honor the auction price if they sell that way.

Thank you.

I think I need to post more info as one of the r129 moderators has told me AMG has never made et11 wheels. And the OZ 3-piece wheels were not 10x17 et17 and 8.5x17 et18 but (only) et28. "AMG never made an ET11 from the factory, those wheels have been modified for sure." Oy veh.

Granted, these aren't r129 wheels, but I do believe they'd likely fit and they could let a buyer decide (or even test fit them) and maybe learn what does and does not fit. Oh well.

ok... There a misunderstanding....

I thought you were selling an AMG 3 piece aero 1 with 11 ET offset....

If it one piece then it the real deal factory..... It made to fit for the W126 S class...

It might fit the R129.....

I have no objection of having you putting your ad in the R129 FS section.....

Only if you warn the R129 members that it might fit the R129 & buyer buy at their own risk...

Good luck with your sale.....

Best Regards,
Tony

Thank you guys. Sorry it wasn't clear. I'm not sure how you guys are supposed to handle that FS thread. It sounds like a lot of work. I wasn't sure how to send pictures in a PM (from my phone), and just thought I'd send the note after someone mentioned that those wheels would look good on a r129. I initially thought the offset is way too low for a 129, but then remembered the big AMG OZ three piece and thought WTH. I agree that it's probably too wide and would most likely end up wearing the tires on the inside. So I won't say its correct, but I do believe it will "fit".

Anyway, no big deal. These aren't high dollar wheels. Just looking to get them gone.

I think I will go try them on my w114 before they sell on ebay.

Having both a w114 coupe and sedan and lots of wheels, I think it's my duty to create a thread "how much tire can you stuff under that w114/115? - fronts/rears".

I find it shocking you would not accept that role for all things wheelz sir...jk

I'm sure most, as I, would appreciate such a thread to glean then file accordingly, with the other "rosetta" level offerings from yourself and others. Soooooooo, what I'm really trying to say is...

Prolly not said enough, but thanks for your contribution here. I can't be the only member who's benefited from it.
