For Sale: 1994 MBZ E320 Wagon (Aliso Viejo, CA)
It has 319k miles and runs very well. I am the 2nd owner and it has always been a California car. I am selling since I just purchased a 4WD to keep up with my son's scout group and can't keep two cars.
A/C is cold, power windows, power door locks, power seats, tan leather seats, 3rd row seats, factory 6-CD player, cassette AM/FM, cruise control, rear window defroster, sunroof, roof rack.
Title is clean. Carfax available. No accidents.
I have most service records in hardcopy and pdf.
Burns about 1/2 qt of oil between changes.
Very minor oil leak. No other leaks.
Oil has been changed every 3k miles. Oil last changed April 2014.
K&N oil filter replaced at 299k.
Rear brake pads just replaced March 2014 at 316k with Akebono ceramic pads. Front pads at 50%. Front and rear rotors replaced June 2011 at 286k.
Transmission rebuilt May 2005 at 196k.
Timing belt replaced Oct 2006 at 220k.
Interstate MTP-93 battery new on Nov 2013.
Clear coat is cracking particularly on hood. Paint is original.
One rust spot on back and crack on rear bumper (see photos).
Cruise does not work.
Power antenna does not go down; stays in upright position.
Two speakers do not work.
I just removed front dash speaker grill to replace speaker and can't yet figure out how to remount it.
Driver's side rear wheel switched with spare thus different alloy.
Engine warning light lights sometimes due to code 26 upshift delay fault.
Smog - It failed recent smog test solely due to hydrocarbons. They started it cold and ran for two minutes before test. Thus failure could be a cold test or it may need a catalytic converter (last replaced 2010). I paid $260 for last cat and it passed 2010 and 2012 tests. Since it failed, CA will pay me $1500 to dismantle thus this is the lower end of what I would accept in an offer.

Price: KBB is $2,883 in fair condition and $3,308 in good condition. Frankly, I am not sure what it is worth but based on the KBB I would accept $3,000 but will consider offers over $1500. If you are a California resident and concerned about the smog, I am willing to pay for a retest and new cat if necessary or discount the price and sell as is. Cash only. No paypal.
Please feel free to contact me with any questions. I am new to the forum so any comments or recommendations are appreciated. Thanks!
I have lots more pictures. Could only put 10 on post.
