Nice (quiet) ride home with an actual exhaust and both mufflers, I almost forgot it was a diesel. At least until I came to a stop (idle).
Control arms cleaned up nicely.
Took 8.023 gallons to top off again after I got back, tripmeter read 261 miles. Not too shabby for lots of hills, red lights, and running the A/C the whole time. Slightly over 31 mpg.
After seeing the car in person, I can safely say that it's a darn shame that it's being parted out.
Pumped for the FJ transplant though...
