Wanted: 1983 300TD Driver's side seat back

Wanted: a nice driver's side seat back for a 1983 300TD. Light color (Palomino or parchment). Must be double stitch. No rips, tears, holes or burns. I do not need the arm rest. Good padding. Want complete seat back not just the seat skin.

I'm helping Norcal123 part out his old 1985 300TD wagon tomorrow. I will have a look at the condition and get back to you. Are you referring to the panel with the cargo net?

Wanted
W201: Late model cladding clips, mushroom leather seat covers

For Sale
W123: Parts from 1982 300TD wagon
W201: Signal lamps, SRS airbag, mushroom rear seat

No, I am looking for the entire back (upright) of the seat. The parts I don't really need are the armrest, headrest, or the back with the net. Palomino or other light color, double stitch, no holes, rips or burns. Fading is OK as I will dye the seat. Hopefully decent padding. Thanks for your help. I will try to post a picture of the double stitch pattern.

FWIW, there is nothing specific about a wagon front seat compared with a sedan front seat.

Currently: 1967 250 SL, 1963 220Sb, 1965 300SE Lang, 1971 280SE parts car, 1972 Alfa GTV, 1965 Alfa Duetto, 1993 BMW R100R
Past: 1971 250 C, 1985 300 TD, 1967 250 S, 1968 280 S,1981 300 D, 1982 280CE, 3 Facel Vegas, Borgward Isabella Coupe, Alfa 2600 Sprint, Volvo P1900 (yes), numerous less interesting Volvos, ...

This is true, but I believe the rear seats are different and some wagons even came with a third row (Norcal123's 300TD parts car has one!). I also have an extra palomino passenger seat from a 1981 300D that's probably in better shape. I would prefer to sell either seat as a whole. I didn't know the back could be removed, and it seems like way more work than just swapping the whole seat.

My seat bottom is in great condition. Swapping the seat back is easy -two bolts on each side. The sedan front seats are the same as the wagon. I believe the 1983 seat may be the only one with the double stitch on the seams. If your friend's TD is a 1985 it probably is not a double stitch seat. Thanks,

Really???? I thought there was the early (thicker) style and the later style... I had no idea of there being a one-year-only different stitching pattern....

I guess my explanation was not very good. I am looking for the upright portion of the front driver's seat in a Palomino that matches the two stitch pattern shown in the pictures. The color needs to be Palomino or parchment with no rips, tears, or burns and needs to have good piping around the edge with hopefully good padding. The seat will be dyed. Thanks
