WTB: W211 Wagon rear left shock absorber

Hey there, I know this is a long shot but I'm desperately seeking a rear left shock for my W211 2004 E320 4Matic Wagon. It is a non airmatic car, and if anyone has one, please let me know!

drohalloran,

I own the same car. I replaced mine recently. I paid $143.00 per rear shock in June 2013. What were you quoted ?

Hey there, just saw your reply today, sorry for my late response!

MB is quoting me $785 plus installation, so just over a thousand dollars for a single shock. The real problem was that the sagging shock caused a rupture in the air bag and now that needs to be replaced too. I had it looked at a local dealer and they suggested that both airbags and shocks be replaced together to the tune of $5200. Seems like a lot of money.

Anyway, I'd be curious to know where you able to find a shock so cheaply? Even online they're around $500

I sent you an email.... but in a nutshell, stop and don't proceed forward with the service dept that gave you those quotes !!! Those quotes are ridiculous.

Just to clarify, are you selling a rear shock absorber or the rear self-leveling airbag, they're two distinctly different things.

Thanks
