Thanks for the heads up Fonzi, I already have a couple set of wheels, including a set of the original Racing Hart Superlatives. I have some new plans for the cossie in the new year, so wouldn't mind to have a new look. lololol.

Now thats a nice rare set of wheels you have there. Those EVO's Fonzi posted the link to are real EVO's and appear to be 8.25's

So who is buying them? Don't make me go thinking I should pick them up while driving through tomorrow. Frog and Scorpion. I can't resist wheels.

So how can you tell they are the real deal, not the ML wheels? Did you contact the seller? If I go in there, call him, and ask to buy them tomorrow in person, I'm probably going to be low balling him, because I need wheels like a need a hole in the head. I don't think I could use these on any of the cars I own. Et34 is too high for my cars. I would have to make an effective et9 with the adapter-spacers I have, a little too low. So I guess I would be buying them to hold and flip. Someone stop me.

Edit:
He said I was the second person to call about them today. Confirmed 8.25. Looks like I will be picking them up tomorrow.

I also have a set of EVO's on our ML430. For ease of identifying them the ML wheels don't have a raised outer lip. Lead me not into temptation...

It's not raised a heck of a lot on these. I guess I will inspect for bends and cracks, but are there any other major flaws one should inspect for on these wheels?

There's a guy with a w201 that lives on my block (and a newer Benz too) that I thought had the real deal evo1, but I think he said they weren't when I talked to him. I think I will have to go take a good look at them before I head out to pick these up.

They are heavy so they can take punishment rather well . They will also have the Benz star and a part number cast on the back of one of the spokes. Go pick them up for me
