OK, so what seems "Euro" about this car is the lack of A/C. Looks like you have rust on the trunk lid, left rear door, left rear fender, left rear C-pillar, ... definitely a car that needs a thorough inspection for the rust that is less visible. Was this car parked outside near the coast?

Attractive car, probably not highly desirable model though. I hope you find a good home for it.

Currently: 1967 250 SL, 1963 220Sb, 1965 300SE Lang, 1971 280SE parts car, 1972 Alfa GTV, 1965 Alfa Duetto, 1993 BMW R100R

Yeah, I think I said before that our grandma had it parked about a mile from the beach for a year before deciding she couldn't drive it any more. It was rust free until then, and that's when the paint started peeling too, we were really disappointed because it was so clean before.

I've had a few offers on it, one person backed out because they found one closer to their location, another was low ($2k), and the other was just under what I'm asking but they need some time to come up with the money (few weeks). I'm hoping to sell it sooner because I need transmission work on my '63, so I figured I'd list it here and see if I can get an offer higher than the $2k from someone who is able to buy it sooner.

Also, I couldn't find any a/c on it (wasn't completely sure where it would be on these as I'm not familiar with MBZ's), but asked grandma and she swore it had it so I deferred to her, but I'm guessing that you know where it should have been so I'll take your word on it.

Thanks, and keep us in mind if you know anyone interested...
