For Sale 1960 180

I have a 1960 180 with 1.9 gas and 4-speed manual. This car has 43,000 miles. I know very little about these cars but do know cars. This 1960 appears to be in very good original condition. This car was brought here by a U.S. Air Force Captain and appears to have never been wrecked. The paint looks original as does everything on it. Questions are welcome as I could learn from your knowledge. The car is located in Biloxi, Ms. I would like to sell it but don't know what its worth.

I don't know what it's worth either. But given that I was born in 1960 and it can haul three kids around town, it would be a fun restoration project for me. Keep me in mind.

This car is rust free and the paint will buff out. I am afraid to buff it as I might not do it correctly. I drive the car once a week and it drives fine. I am researching the value but it is difficult as I have not seen any of these cars in this good of condition. I will post a price a.s.a.p.

Post Try this link from Hagerty

It may help you explain vehicle condition factors. Searching auction house results is also a good way to set a realistic price. Best of luck with the sale.

'58 200 series

There is a '58 200 series on the bay at just south of $4k US, for comparison... No reserve and only 2 hrs left on auction at time of posting (no affiliation).

Damn I like both!

They are both nice! but the gold one is neater if original color...

I call this seller a day dreamer seller.....but his hook out into the see....hoping for a bite for 15 grand...

fwiw don't these only have 5 digit odometers? So how am I to know it only has 43k......if it does....it may be a negative meaning it has sat for a large number of years, allowing everything to rot...

I didn't see that as a thread crap at all. The gold car sold, and it's a useful data point although a bit of a different car. I kind of like the black car better but It's a lower end car isn't it....? GLWS of the black car, looks pretty sweet to me.

The is a "For Sale" sign on the car, so it's being actively marketed. What are you asking for a selling price?

The car on ebay looks like a 220S that has leather, wood, 6 cylinder vs. 4, etc. Not really that comparable to a 180.

Edit: just looked and the ebay car is a 219. It's not a 220S but close and has leather, wood, 6 cylinder, but with one carb instead of 2 on the 220S.
