I have a Black 1987 190E 2.3-16v, Manual transmission for sale.
I am moving and have no place for it, so it's time to let her go. I have owned the car since 2001. Runs and drives great. 134,000 miles.
It is basically stock, still has original SLS suspension system. The only changes made have been a new catalytic converter (not OEM), and some modifications to the sound system.
Looking for $7,500 obo.
New radiator, new suspension spheres in the rear, newish oxygen sensor, majority of suspension bushings replaced in last 5 years, new clutch has about 20-25k miles on it.
The clear coat is starting to peel in a few places, as well as some slight oxidation/fading on the lower body trim panels. A few very minor dings and one very small scratch.
The leather interior is in pretty good condition, the driver's side has seen better days, and the back buckets need a seam repair at the very top. Leather in front is pretty stiff, back still has some suppleness.
The only issue I have had is trying to pass smog in CA. It fails by a small margin in the low speed test. After some trial and error, I believe it is an electrical problem rooted in one of the relays. Assuming it has to do with the computer providing wrong air/fuel mixture.
Beyond that it's a great car and I am very sad to see her go. Willing to entertain all offers as it's a bit of a grey area pricing these rare cars.
