Mechanic in Virginia that built this nitrous car said he sold it to you around 7000, that was a fantastic find!! GLWS
So what's your point, trying to show us how to be an ass - H*** in 20 words or less?
What someone paid for something, has nothing to do with the objects true value. My father gave me a Corvette for graduation, does that mean it's worth any less to a buyer when I sell it? I purchased a genuine Rolex watch for $1500, and it's market value is $5000. Does that mean I should sell you my Rolex for a price close to $1500, or sell it for it's true market value?
I'm not saying I know what this car is worth, I don't, but I'm not trying to take the side of the potential buyer or seller, I know neither of them so I stay neutral.
Do you know the seller, and think he's a bad person, and needs to be punished? If not STFU...
Here is a word for you to look up and use in a sentence, "discretion".
More I think about it, you won't bother to look it up, so here it is;
the quality of behaving or speaking in such a way as to avoid causing offense or revealing private information.
"she knew she could rely on his discretion"
synonyms: circumspection, carefulness, caution, wariness, chariness, guardedness; More
the freedom to decide what should be done in a particular situation.
"it is up to local authorities to use their discretion in setting the charges"
synonyms: choice, option, preference, disposition, volition;
Obviously you must think the 2nd definition is more meaningful than the first, I'd bet you must be some pain in the ass to work or live with...
PS: In case your wondering, I am not using discretion in this post
PPS: In the words of an infamous B/W member since 2010, "A prudent person will avoid the mob sentiment, let's hope for a fair trial".. Is this a fair way to describe your personality, "Prudent but without Discretion" ?
Most importantly, to the seller, I hope the car finds a good home at a price both you and the buyer are happy with.
