are you sure this car is a 61? Looks like 66 or 67. No signal lens on fenders + dual carb. The 190c only came with single carb.

need to check year

I guess I will have to double check that year. I see some differences in the markers between the two.

The car has been sitting in a storage garage for many years (at least 20) and along with a few other cars that have been sitting there it is going to be sold. The car runs fine. It has surface rust on the metal surfaces in the engine compartment but none on the outside.

I was only looking at it for a short time so I'll see if there is a title for it. I'm investigating for an older relative. He mentioned about $10,000 for the car but I'm trying to see if this is reasonable. The car in in central NJ.

Without a lot more information and based just on the picture I would say that the seller is off his rocker.

Tell them to put the crack pipe down and move away from the car…

The 190c is probably one of the least desirable models for a lot of reasons. It's pretty much the bottom end model of the line, with very few amenities and goodies that make it appeal to the heckflosse aficionado.

A rough guess with the minimal amount of information and pictures provided would be around $1,000-$2,000 on a very good day. A decent example in good running condition might bring $4,000 - maybe - and that doesn't take into consideration a lot of variables.

If they think it's worth $10k, I would wish them well and suggest they market it on their own, as you're not going to be able to assist them.

Dan

I like this 220 even though it is not a 190C, no way. I'll take it if the price is right, and keep it in better stead for life! Thank you very much! For Real, The Good Dr. Robert
