FS The Last Best Wagon Out There
As also posted on the 124 board:
Selling my wagon to afford a project. Asking $4000 with some flexibility, but this is a 2nd owner, well-sorted daily driver. Always a DC-area car, flipped to me by a Benz tech who grabbed it to bring it up to spec. I've enjoyed complete durability and trouble-free driving for 10 years and 70,000 miles. Now has a bit over 201K. Recent service, including transmission. I have a .pdf of all the records (a MVI before I owned it, but it was always serviced at the place it was bought). All the known problem and wear items have been professionally addressed: head gasket, evaporator, transmission rebuilt at 130K, flex disks, front end wear stuff replaced, etc. I really would like this wagon to go to someone who appreciates it as (my opinion, shared by others) the last, best hand-crafted Mercedes Benz, and will enjoy it as I have for the next 100,000 miles and more. Lots of area techs and indies know this car, as do many in the GWS of the MB Club. PMs preferred but I'll check back often.
