What's the value of this '93 wagon

Steve, my mechanic is going to sell his 93 wagon. he is the second owner. The first was a salesman with a three southern state territory. He put 240,000 miles on it before selling it to my Steve 4 years ago. Steve has a 100 mile round trip daily commute. The car now has 293,000 miles. Body is great, no rust or dings. Interior also excellent. Good rubber, AC cold, cruise control works.
The engine has a slight oil leak from a leaking head gasket. Steve says it was like that when he bought the car. And the 6s were know fr head gasket problems. The other mechanical issue is that it needs a new wiring harness for the throttle body. I am told the price is $300.
Steve is asking $1,500 for the car. I want a wagon but should I take a pass on this?

IMO $1500 is decent, but get him to fix everything you mention. If he balks at that PM me about mine.

split the cost with him on the repairs. If it is really in good condition otherwise, 1500 is a good price.
