It was a weird shifter never saw one like it before I think it was because the car had some better accesory package. the leather shifter boot was actually binded with the knob on top. Its not a dog leg gatrag.

I just purchased a 1980'S AMG front bumper but thats going elsewhere Plus its a 900$ bumper if in perfect condition so I dont think anyone would pay the extra. also The bumper has this huge metal reinforcement weigt of it must be around 60 pounds I think I will keep it in my basement and not on my car hahaha.

Im sure I will sell the 92 sportline for 4K when summer comes, alot of people ask about it. Hehe You will never find another black on black sportline like that Mate so not sleeping and dreaming about it is just a side effect of looking at my posting I had a chance to buy a 1988 300e 5 speed but it had 260K on it, I wanted to put the trany in the sportline but I figured its trany is probably shut anyways so ya I was like nah. There wasnt any 300E 5 speeds anywhere for sale for last 3 years Ive been looking for one but I got this one here the 1986 and Its so fun to drive I already got complements even though its not painted I think its cuz it sounds mean, It sounds like a audi 2.8 v6 with exhaust on it I will post a video soon for you guys to hear it. I think its because of the 24v that it sounds different than my 12v and also this car loves rpms unlike my 12v it actually starts to move after 4.5K its like a switch goes on and all the sudden it throws you back into the seat and wheels start spinning "in wet" I dont know why. Does the valve timing on this thing change at higher rpms like a vtec in a honda??

Exhaust sound video

I guess I wasnt kidding when I said it sounds mean. Also the car is quiet on highway not as quiet as stock but It is not bothering loud.

I can sell it as is for 4K if it does not sell in a month I will be less busy and I will do the bodywork on it but than It will be around 5.5K. I have many people asking about it but no cash in my hand yet so its here for grabs.

Also I changed all the pads and rotors plus rear right caliper left one was changed not long ago I noticed cuz It was not original and had surface rust as the new calipers even from dealer dont come painted. Front couldve been replaced But I dont know I say this because they were really clean and had a gray metal finish and no rust. I painted the rotors and calipers light gold to match the roof trim from the 1995 that it has. I adjusted the Handbrake to the point where one click holds the car so much you cant go anywhere, I noticed New handbrake lines. suspencion is tight I checked the shocks and all the links. It has A new steering gear as I mentioned before. Thats about it for underneath, I forgot to take a picture of the dual pipes running instead of the huge catalic converter.

Interesting car but I see a lot of discrepancies with this car... IMO it appears to be a 300e with a 24v motor swapped into it, which would explain why the body and motor have different mileages.

It doesn't have sport seats, right badging on decklid, sportline shiftknob, or exterior sportline badging..
