Just an observation, but from my experience buying and selling wheels, mounted tires automatically turn the sale into a local one.
Getting used tires with wheels is a questionable option, and quite frequently the tires are the wrong size for the buyer anyway. Besides that everyone likes to pick their own brand tires.
These tires from your description are nearing their end of life anyway, and the additional shipping costs would be a waste.
These are nice wheels, I have a set myself and they look great on 80's & 90's Benz. There is a limited market for them as they are 16", and everyone seems to be going bigger for the looks. But I prefer the 16" wheels on the older Benz, they provide a much better ride, better pothole protection, and look almost as good as the 17's.
Long story short, you would have better luck getting a higher price from buyers that are not local, if you offered to remove the tires to keep shipping costs as low as possible. The extra weight of the tires and larger size of the shipping boxes will increase shipping costs dramatically, to the point it's a deal killer.
On the other hand a local buyer may be able to use the tires for a while as an extra benefit, and the weight and size becomes a mute concern.
Just a thought... Good Luck...
