1967 Euro 250s - column shift manual 4 speed

Hello all,

I am selling my great running and driving 1967 250s. It is a German market car that was imported to California in the late 1970's as a wedding gift for the previous owner. The car is currently in Los Angeles.

She is a 4 speed manual, column shifted, 2.5L I6 with the Euro front headlight lenses, and Euro front and rear foglights. Very fun to drive and the column shift is easy to learn. I bought her as my little weekend cruiser, and have enjoyed her.

I have the original manuals (in German), original keys (with spare set), registration cards going back to the days of importation, German warranty docs and many other period items for the new owner to enjoy. She also has the old blue and yellow CA license plates.

The car sat unused here in CA from 1999 through this year when I brought her back to life. Lots of cool features are still working from the dash clock and low fuel light to the winshield washer pressure mechanism and original horns. In fact, the only two items not working are the heater temperature levers (fan lever and top/bottom levers work), and the odometer which is stuck at 68k kms.

The cloth interior is in good shape with the exception of the top of the rear seat which has sun damage.

The compression is good on all cylinders, the chrome and all glass is in excellent shape. There is an area of rust behind the passenger side front wheel that is about 6" by 3". Throw on some wax and down the road she goes (havn't gotten around to that yet).

Everyone who sees the car loves it. It has a ton of character. I'd like to see her go to a good home. I'll send additional pictures if you are interested.

I've rebuilt all of the brake calipers and repaired/replaced all of the rubber and metal brake lines. I replaced all of the rubber fuel lines, flushed the fuel tank, and rebuilt the front carburetor (rebuild kit for the rear carb comes with the car). I've also replaced the clutch slave cylinder. The car has brand new tires on it which I bought this summer and the registration was just renewed in October.

I have many tune up type spare parts that will also come with the car. Let me know if you are interested.
