I have a beautiful silver Mercedes 190E 2.5L 16v Cosworth.
It was originally imported as new from Germany to Japan. It was imported to Canada from Japan just two years ago. Therefore it is a Left Hand Drive (standard north american steering wheel side).
It is very rare for North America - as we only received the 2.3 models - this is the later, and faster 2.5 model.
It has a little over 220,000 kms and is an automatic with a full leather interior and a sunroof (not working) AMG Exhaust tips with resonator delete. 17" Lorinser wheels. A/C option but I think needs to be recharged. It has a revvy engine that loves to be pushed. This is a very exciting car to drive. Turns heads everywhere.
It drives fine and I currently use it as a daily driver. It's been lowered and the SLS (Self-levelling-suspension in the rear) has been replaced with Koni yellows all around. I just put in a new set of H&R springs as well. It just went through AirCare this month.
The car is priced accordingly because it needs work. I am not able to drive into most parking lots/driveways without scraping the bottom a little. It would need taller springs -The muffler rattles in "Drive" but not in neutral; a new muffler (quoted from budget auto centres) The headlight should be changed one has rock chip and one of the rear tail lights is cracking. It does leak some oil. It has a small rust spot on the rear qtr panel size of a dime. Overall this car would need some work to get it in top shape - and then it'd be worth quite a bit based on its rarity. Not sure if there was any previous accidents in Japan, but certainly no accidents while in Canada.
Would make a great project car for someone who has the time and passion.
I'm looking to sell it for $8900 cdn dollars.
PM me any interest.Thx for looking!
