NO Joblewyu2, I'm not trying to pawn anything off on anyone. Just trying to sell an honest original car for honest money. That's it. No hidden agenda. I have not been sneaking around or anything like that.

No estate either Green T. They have a 3rd car and didn't need the two merc's anymore. I didn't own the cars when I posted this thread. I was using this site to seek advice on what I should pay for the cars. Like I said in my sale thread, I had to buy both of them. It was a package deal, and I can't keep both cars for lack of space. I want to keep one of them. I just don't know which one I really want more. When one sells, the other will be removed from this site. But this goes back to my earlier post, Fuck off if you are not interested in a car I have for sale. I'm not going to get rich on the sale of either cars, and I'm not here to give away cars. Making a couple bucks will hopefully go towards possible needed service and upgrades to the car I keep so that I can enjoy it for many more years. I priced them where they are because of what I have seen these cars in similar condition listed at.

Green T, What are you, last nights erection? Go away! I don't care what you do, so why do you put so much attention into what I'm doing? I assume you still are in your parents basement playing benzworld police officer. Get out and do something more productive with your time. Go experience some sunlight and suck down some fresh air instead of cock. Maybe even hit the neighborhood coffee shop and try interacting with a woman/guy that you don't have to blow up or pay for. Do something other than wasting the time of others.

Nice try pawning off $2,500 cars for 2-3 times their value. Probably spent $5,000 for both and asking $13,000 for the pair. $8,000 profit is not just a couple of bucks as you claim but a nice month's salary. Try Carmax, they buy cars, but not way above retail for average wholesale items with no warranty. If the seller was that desperate to sell both cars as a package deal, I am sure the price was superlow to make it worth someone's interest. Anyway, good luck selling one of them and keeping the model that best fits your needs. Both are great models.

Exclamation

Let the laws of supply and demand work themselves out here and quit sounding like a bunch of old women with nothing else to do. Some people's behavior on this site is nothing short of amazing….

As we have seen before in the marketplace, sometimes people come across a good deal and flip a vehicle or two, much as our buddy in Rhode Island often does, but I don't see anyone calling him out on it.

If the seller thinks they can get 2-3 times the value, more power to them! With the level of experience on this site, it's unlikely that anyone trying something like this would ever be successful.

Maybe people feel insulted that someone's trying to make what some might consider an excessive profit?

Let economics work this out - if the cars are worth what the seller is asking to someone, they will sell. If not, they won't or the price goes down.

Amazing to me how worked up some people get around here. Stand down and let things work themselves out on their own…

Pretty much.

He can try all he wants, but will not sell them at those prices on here. Just like the other person you are referring to.

Ebay is better suited for those aspirations.

It's nice to see that you can do simple math! Congrats! You'll never know what I paid for them. And what business is it of yours? If I bought them for $1 and made a profit of $12,999, it should still be of no concern of yours. The cars were of my interest because of the care they received over the years.

If I can't sell them here, so be it. But you guys are not helping my cause by poluting my thread. So allow me to go about my personal business and let me do what I came here to do. So I can move on. thanks

Not sensitive, just annoyed with the childish behavior from some of the members on this site.

LOL. I think that there are a lot of folks on here who are simply jealous that they didn't find the cars and flip them themselves. Nothing wrong with what you are doing at all. FWIW I would try to sell the W126 and keep the W124. I don't think the price you are asking for either is way out of line given the condition and records the cars have. There is a dealer up in Philly who is selling cars of the same vintage for higher dollar that you are asking.
