debadged car, but imprints remain on paint? how do you remove this?

I removed the badged from the back of my car, but I can still see the imprint when I'm in the right light! I'm very OCD when it comes to my car, and this is really annoying me... Does anyone know how to remove this without having the car re-painted?

Also, does anyone know where to go to post questions on this website?

Goo Gone. Put a small amount on a MF towel and wipe the glue off without putting pressure the towel. Then wax the spot right after and you're good.

You may need cutting paste, followed by paint renovator, followed by polish.

As far as asking questions, if it's about the website, use the benzworld help forum.

If it's about your car, use the forum specific to your chassis. Since you haven't told us what car you have, peruse the forum main page until you see it.

In either case, the for sale/trade/wanted forum probably ain't it, so it seems your OCD isn't terribly pervasive.

It's also helpful if you click user cp and edit details so you can easily add your vehicle and location to your profile. It's often useful information when you're seeking assistance.

Finally, try some clay first for your issue, several, several passes. If that doesn't do it, then try polishing compound. If it still remains, then go to a rubbing compound.

Good luck.

Yeah, this needs to be moved out of here.

Use a belt sander. Go easy.
