Known issues

Electrical Drain, idle "wobble" when cold, Trans flares on the 2-3 shift, interior has wear/needs attention, some exterior cosmetic issues (paint chip on hood, dent and paint peeling on roof), sunroof inoperable.

looks like a pretty fair buy..

i just bought a 300ce, but am considering replacing it already.. a Benz just doesnt feel the same unless its got a V8..

you may be a tiny bit out of my range for me to take a chance at viewing it.. but ya never know... either way, if I, or anyone else wanted to come see it, the first thing i would ask you is how long have you owned the car for? --- that way id know if you tried flushing the trans fluid(or done any other adjustments, etc) to rid the shift flare, and if the car has valid CA tags/smog, estimated new mileage beyond 125k etc, etc..

for $2k you really dont need to prove much in value to get your price, but it would certainly paint a better picture to get a buyer to bite.. i probably would have called you already if it had black leather(my 300CE has gray leather too -- reason #4 why i dont love it)

Once, i thought i was wrong; but i had only been mistaken...

Thanks for the response. my ad is a bit bare but I figured with the price I would have a bit more interest.

I've owned the car since March of this year. I bought it as a project, as I have a soft spot for large V8's (my father had a 71 6.3 SEL), but all my other projects got in the way.

I have considered slapping on some new tires and driving the snot out of it, but I have four other cars.....

I haven't done anything to address the shift flare. If I have it over the holidays I'll drop the pan and replace the fluid.

The mileage is a guess-the odo broke sometime in the past before I got it, I had it fixed, and it broke again. So mileage is an unknown. I have put maybe 600 miles on it.

Tags are paid, and the car has a valid smog.

Found out only one of the tires was bad;
Replaced the tire, did brake pads at all four corners and now shes running around nicely.

Electrical drain has been traced to the seatbelt light-stays on.

Still for sale.
