The only 10" wide wheels I know anyone has been able to fit on a 107 are the 10x17 et17 AMG oz wheels.

The widest I recall anyone fitting on the front of a 107 are the 8.5x17 et18 AMG oz wheels.

I can't remember the tire sizes for either.

theres a member on here that test fitted widebody pentas on his same specs
rear stuck out about an inch and about a 1/2in in the front still with the beefy tires.

best bet for my wheels as stated twice is either you change the rear barrels or you will need to pull and roll the arches.

fyi: barrels and caps always pops up on ebay

had the same prb with my old r129 with 18x9.5 255/35 had to use a 5mm or a 8mm spacer then had the roll the fenders after the car was lowered .

I'm still stumped because I'm pretty sure widebody Pentas have the same backspace for both front and back wheels, 9x16 et0 front and 10x16 et-12.7 rears.

You mention the "backspace 5" and "backspace 6" somewhere which really threw me off while mentioning -12.7 as the rear offset in the same post.

I think Ivan was just pointing out the required tire for that rim. Offset has nothing to do with "what tire will fit the rim".

But what do I know.

Effective offset of -3.

But you have to keep in mind that the centers on these wheels aren't designed to clear big brakes, so while mine had an original offset of 27, I needed a 30mm spacer just to clear the front brakes, which this set would need as well (on a 560SL at least).

Lay a straight edge across the back of each a front and a back, with the straight edge in contact with the barrel. Measure the distance from the mounting plate to the straight edge. That's your backspace.

Since the lips are different, they clearly don't have the same "front space" (unless the centers for the front and back aren't the same). I'm guessing that you have 1" more lip on the back and you are correct that the offsets are zero for the front and negative 12.7 for the rear. If that's the case, the backspace on both front and back should be the same, just like AMG widebody wheels.
