W111 Fintail projects in DFW

Not mine, but a good guy owns two W111 220S. One has a solid body while the other was blasted in the back.

The one that was blasted in the back ran when rear ended (of course) so the engine is good and the interior is nice too.

Both are black with red leather.

Pretty sure they can be had for under $2000 for the pair.

I'm not a big fintail guy and I'm out of space. But in looking at these two cars, I'm pretty sure that there is everything needed to make a nice running car and probably enough parts to sell in order to recoup what was spent to buy them.

With best regards

Al

Sure it's possible. Anything is possible. But US mechanic labor charges are $100/hr so it's a matter of whether you want to pay to have it dismantled or not. I'm thinking that you don't?
