I found another 1968 MB 280SL for $16,000 from a seller who has shown title, pics, car's location, and description as to why they are selling. After finding out that all my Due Diligence was a scam, I wanted to let all of you know what the scam was about.
The perpetrators listed the MB for sale on Auto Trader. They have an e mail they have been using for sometime on different Vehicles.
Look out for : "Victor Martel" <firstname.lastname@example.org>
If you see this name or e mail, please report it to IC3.COM and to the FBI for online fraud.
So the routine is list a nice car for cheap. Get some bites via e mail, and then make the buyer feel good by guaranteeing that the vehicle can be rejected if they ship it to you and you don't care for it. They claim the money that the buyer had will be safe USING GOOGLE WALLET as the escrow money holder. I found out today that Google Wallet has no policy for holding onto the money until the buyer accepts the vehicle for a 5 day period.

Best of luck to you all.
