Congrats on the sale! Now I can piggypack... I have a set of the same springs available for sale. They are used but in excellent condition. $200 shipped anywhere in the USA (lower 48 states).

Shipping international is crazy expensive due to the weight... roughly $200 USD to Australia.

I wouldn't recommend them for a 400E, the car will be too low.

You can get factory Sportline springs for the 400E but they are $$$$....

Dang. Is it because it only made for the 300e?

I was looking at YSR coilovers for the W124, but idk if I wanna pull thru with it. It's nice with the height adjustment, dampening and front camber. . The thing is that with these coilovers, from my understanding, it is not possible to adjust height without undoing the arms-where the springs sits-.. And with just springs and shocks I know I can get height adjustment by using different spring pads..

I don't mind being low, I used to ride my old car being only a couple inches from the ground. I live in California and the raids aren't so bad. lol

The factory springs are all stupid expensive now, MB has been jacking up prices like crazy the past 2 years. So if you want the MB-engineered Sport springs for 400E, it will cost you. If you just want the car lower, cut your stock springs.

Coilovers are a very, very, very bad idea on a 124 (or 201, or 129). Please don't buy those.

It depends if you just want the car lower, or if you are trying to get a higher (stiffer) spring rate for improved cornering / etc. If you want to reduce body roll, I'd get 500E sway bars (also $$$) before messing with the springs, but lowering + sway bars + Sport shocks/struts all combined will make a major difference.
