For sale: 2005 Lexus ES330, one owner only 63K miles
Sorry for the non-Mercedes post. However, this is a great car, and I feel more "at home" here on benzworld.org than on clublexus. This is the first posting I'm making to sell this car. If you're interested in the car, please email me: koansi at gmail dot com. In the next few days, there will be a website, and postings on ClubLexus, Ebay, and Craigslist; this is just the preview here.
It's a single-owner, no-accident, clear-title, perfectly maintained 2005 Lexus ES330. 63,337 miles right now. Black exterior, black leather interior. I just updated the GPS map to the latest version.
The owner is my father. He's too old to drive now, so we're selling the car (yes, I have the power of attorney form allowing me to sell the car on his behalf). My father bought the car new at Germain Lexus in Columbus Ohio when he retired, and since then used it only for going to the park for a walk or to doctors' appointments downtown. All maintenance done every 3,000 miles at Germain Lexus; they have the records (at some point I'll get a copy of the records too).
No accidents, no other bad stuff. Perfect mechanical condition. All accessories work. Always garage parked. Until last month, the car had never been outside Central Ohio! (Last month I did drive it down to Nashville for a few days.)
Cosmetic faults: 1. A few cigarette burns in the driver's side interior pillar, from the many times he was holding his cigarette while driving. 2. A few small marks from tree sap or bird poop 3. Some scuffs on rear bumper 4. A long, hair-thin horizontal scratch on the front passenger door, maybe from a key vandal.
Clear title in hand, ready to sell, no funny stuff. The car is in Central Ohio, and I'll work with you to either deliver the car to you or deliver you to the car. Cash or wire transfer only, don't want any checks from Nigeria.
How much? I don't know. My friend who flips cars says that I should list it at $16K and let people negotiate me down to $14K. I see some 2005 ES330s sold on Craigslist for around $12K, but they all have several owners and twice the miles of this one. So, somewhere over $12K but under $16K, largely depending on what offers I get.
