Up for sale is my prized 300D.. Purchased 8 years ago from its original owner in Manhattan. Car has 129k miles, Dark blue, with palomino MB tex interior in fair shape. Windows all work, sunroof works fine and doesn't leak. Seat springs are in good shape as I swapped a new set in the driver front seat. I replaced many parts on this car. The turbo charger left me stranded in NC when I first got it and had it replaced by the dealer there. Engine runs strong. About 15k miles or so ago, I had the injector nozzles replaced with Bosio nozzles, changed the 5 glow plugs. Always was on top of valve adjustments. With the car, comes an array of spare parts, wheels, relays, steering box (just incase), hood, trunk lid etc. The floors and jack tubes are solid as rocks.
Somethings I have done to her-
Injector nozzles, popped and balanced.
Complete exhaust system
Banjo bolt cleaned, disabled EGR valve
9 blade plastic cooling fan with smaller diameter 300SD water pump pulley
Power steering fluid and filter change
Brake fluid changed a few times

Stated above, there's a ton of spare parts that I don't have inventory of that go with the car. (somewhere in there is an M-pump
The car does in fact need some work. The body is in decent shape and isn't too bad for its age. Not so perfect, but far from rough. Was hit by a drunk driver in the rear and the euro bumper bent
. A small patch of rust under the rear tail light and behind the left rear wheel are the main issue with the cars' body aside from small dents and scratches. At 130k, the vehicle needs a service, included, is 2 gallons of 15w40 Rotella T, an Mann oil filter, 2 Mann fuel filters. Boredom a few weeks ago, I threw a new Mann air cleaner in and also a set of new Continental belts. There is a fair amount a play in the steering system, which upon sale of the car, comes a COMPLETE LEMFOREDER steering and front suspension rebuild kit, no fugazy parts at all. The brakes leave a bit to be desired as the front left caliper leaks, yet again, in the kit I have, included is a set of ATE caliper rebuild kits, 4 brand new ATE rotors, ATE brake hoses and original Mercedes Benz brake pads. Included in the sale is a Spring compressor and a set of progressive rate rear springs from the euro w123 my Swap came from
The reason as to why I have to sell my cherished baby, is the fact that I now have a long commute that I do at night...at 24 years old, I need to buy a little more fuel efficient vehicle and something newer and safer, I understand these are very safe, but I'm not about to test that. It kills me that I have this decision to make, but I feel that selling it to another enthusiast, will give it a good home, rather than to someone off the street who wouldn't appreciate the car as I have.
As for the price, I have put much into her and I know I can not get that all back. I'm looking for $5,000, I'm negotiable on this number, yet the best offer takes it.
Any questions, feel free to call me, Matt (718)-Nine/Eight/6/0/nine/0/4
The car no longer has the 5 spoke Mille miglia wheels...now has the 8 hole, W124/w140 wheels..
The pictures are not the newest, but the exterior condition has not changed much aside from the wheels and the dented rear bumper..
