My 2 cents coming from a 126 owner that loves the cars and have owned several 126's. The unfortunate reality is that 126 sedans prices are now in the dumps! Market wise 380's are much less desirable than 500's. 126 sedans have now become just old cars and a lot of people decry the fact that market trends dictate they are just $1,500 or less cars if you can get a buyer primarily due to high prices charged by MB indies for things like a valve job (range from $2,500 -$5,000), transmission rebuilt ($2,500). It's a nice car but that's the reality. The expense involved in parting it out won't get more money either.
