1995 C36 AMG- Needs Transmission Wiring Harness- San Diego- $3199 obo

1995 Mercedes-Benz C36 AMG blk/blk

--Asking $3199 OBO

--1995 C36 AMG, blk/blk, clean title, 182k on the clock in need of a transmission harness (CAR STARTS BUT DOESN'T TAKE THROTTLE - TOW REQ.)

--STRONG powertrain- you're more than welcome to run compression tests if you like

-You're more than welcome to bring along any mechanic or Merc specialist you like if you're inclined to

--College kid with a passion for working on Mercs trying to get rid of an unnecessary 3rd car so I can pay off the last of my undergrad tuition before heading to law school

--Car needs a new transmission harness due to the infamous Bosch biodegradable wiring of the mid-90's, this is likely the reason it's not taking throttle. This can be purchased from the dealership and shipped in a week for $197. I just purchased and installed an $1800 updated rubber engine wiring harness (original Mercedes) due to this same reason

--If you know anything about high-performance European cars, you're familiar with the C36's iconic status as the first-ever production AMG-Mercedes

--Only 5,000 of these cars ever made it overseas, and its value as a collector's car has been rising by the month

--Absolutely bulletproof hand-built AMG inline-six engine that runs as strong as it did when it left Affalterbach. These engines were hand-built by a single AMG technician, rated conservatively (as is typical with Merc) at 280 hp and 284 lb-ft of torque. The torque curve on these engines is astonishingly smooth, and as great as the E36 M3 is, its motor has nothing on the AMG. Also the best-sounding six-cylinder I've ever heard.

--Other AMG factory upgrades include four-piston AMG calipers on 13" rotors that stop the car shorter than most Ferraris of its day. AMG dual square-tip exhaust system, double-wishbone suspension, Bilstein-AMG shocks, etc.

--Chrome 18"

--Brand new Sumitomos

--Full tint

--AMG Sport Package (heated leather Recaro AMG seats, 6-disc CD changer, interior upgrades)

--Fresh Mobil-1 synthetic

--New oil/air filters

--Coolant flushed

--Power steering flushed

--Car is currently "murdered-out" (all trim is black), but can be reverted to chrome in less than 2 minutes

--One could spend a couple weeks finally making my first AMG project 100% cherry, or simply take off any desired AMG parts to turn your 190E / W124 E-class into the most tasteful sleeper on the road

Please call or e-mail Max with any questions you might have about the car or the price

(858) 248-3326

Thanks for looking
