Wanted: Set of 15" OEM Alloy Wheels for 560SL

I'm seeking to locate a purchase a complete set (4, or 5 preferred), genuine Mercedes 15" OE alloy wheels to fit a R017 , ie. 1988 560SL. Don't care about the finish as they just need to be straight with no serious curb rash as I want them for a special project. Must be at fair price and seller must also be willing to package and ship to me (I am in/near Houston, Texas).

If you have a set or know someone who does, please PM me with info, photos if possible and contact info. Thanks.

Hi there,

I have 2 wheels like the ones you wants, but also have a full set which are 16", but I do not know MB parts enough to know if it fits your model.

See my post here, and note that I am negociable:

The wheels pictured in your ad are obviously different. You were also told originally when you posted them as early SL wheels that they don't fit any R129 or R107.
I don't understand why you responded here.

Maybe because the 16" et51 where what he somehow thought were SL wheels and now maybe he is pitching the et41 15"??? Still way off though, but a man that's gotta move wheels has gotta move wheels at all costs.

Ebay!!

Sorry guys, the old man that gave them to me was convinced he had them on his old 94-95 SL...the old dude got alzheimer's , and he asked me sell his stuff for him to make space in his garage which he still hasn't figured out for what. Anyhow, Ebay is my next option

P.S. Sorry for bothering you guys, was not my intention, just accidental

Not a problem. Like I said. If you Gotta move wheels, you gotta move wheels. It is a shame to see them go to scrap metal, but you always have that option if you don't find a buyer. This 8-hole style wheel is s available new from Asa via tire rack. So not often will you find folks seeking this particular 8-hole style. We do see them on a lot of cars though. If folks are looking for an inexpensive second set, or some novelty, they might be interested. But ebay is the easiest solution. Home Depot has 18x18x20 boxes that work perfectly with a little extra protection in the box, and USPS averages around $25/wheel to ship. It should feel good knowing they get used on a car instead of scrap metal, right?
