Hello everyone, I’d like to post my experience with a on-line company named DIY
Repair Manuals. I was looking for a true MB repair manual to purchase for trouble shooting a fog light problem. I made it a point to ask in a email if it was a true MB repair manual and did it have a wiring schematic and was told yes.
Looking over their 100% customer satisfaction policy on the site, I felt safe to make the purchase.
After paying close to $300.00,
a DVD came in and did not work. After some frustrating time on the phone and going to some other web-site to download something to make it work.
When I got it up and running, there was NO wiring schematic at all and it covered 2003-2007 and I asked for a 2008.
When I called again, I told them I was not happy at all with no schematic. The only thing to do with a wiring schematic was a photo of a wiring harness, no color codes, no numbers, just a picture. I also said my ordered was for a 2008 and this DVD only covered 2003 to 2007!
I was also told they are the same car! When I ask for a refund I was informed they have a no money back policy
, even though there policy on the site said nothing like this.
I am a Disabled Veteran and do not have $300. to throw away. After emailing DIY and asking if they had what I needed and they reply that they did, but knowing they had NO 2008 and NO wiring harness, DYI will say anything to get your money and will even stoop low enough to rip-off a Disabled Veteran, speaks loud about ethics.
If anyone know of a ligament company where I cane get a true MB repair manual that has a complete wiring harness
, would you please tell me and watch out for DIY
